PDF Press Pilot Terms & License

Software license

PDF Press Pilot, an EnVision Direct company, is licensed, not sold. Your purchased license tier determines how many computers may be activated at the same time. Each activation is associated with a specific computer.

Annual licensing and renewal

The initial purchase includes the first year of licensing. After the first year, each active license renews automatically at $79 per license per year unless cancelled before renewal. Renewal reminder notices begin 30 days before the renewal date. An active license is required to continue using production and output functions.

License tiers

The Single-PC package permits one active computer, the 2-PC package permits up to two active computers, and the 5-PC Print Shop package permits up to five active computers. Additional multi-seat licensing is available by contacting support.

Replacing a computer

If you replace a workstation, deactivate PDF Press Pilot on the old computer before activating the replacement. A license may not exceed the activation limit of the purchased package.

Software updates

Software updates and improvements released while the annual license is active are included. Availability, timing and scope of future updates may vary.

Trial

The free trial is intended for evaluation before purchase. Trial access may be limited by time, device or prior trial use.

Production responsibility

PDF Press Pilot is a prepress production tool. Users are responsible for reviewing generated PDFs, imposition, page order, marks, bleeds, dimensions and other production settings before printing or manufacturing.

Payments and billing

Checkout, payment processing, taxes and subscription billing may be handled by our authorized commerce provider. The checkout page will display the final amount and applicable taxes before payment.

Cancellation

You may cancel future automatic renewal through the available subscription-management process. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not retroactively refund a completed billing period unless required by applicable law.
